Patta has spent years becoming one of the most recognisable names in European sneaker collaborations, particularly through its long-running relationship with Nike. Its next footwear project goes somewhere much less predictable: Crocs.

The Amsterdam label has revealed its take on the Crocs Classic EXP Clog, covering the technical clog in desert camouflage, oversized Patta branding and a set of custom Jibbitz.

And importantly, Patta has not chosen the ordinary Classic Clog.

The collaboration uses Crocs’ newer Classic EXP Clog, a more rugged version of the brand’s signature silhouette equipped with a Vibram outsole. Crocs describes the standard EXP model as combining a Vibram Christy outsole for increased traction and durability with a BounceLite midsole, lightweight construction and a water-resistant Croslite upper.

That gives Patta considerably more to work with than simply changing the colour of a standard pair of Crocs.

What does the Patta x Crocs look like?

The main feature is a tan and khaki desert-camouflage upper sitting above a contrasting black sole.

A black textile heel strap continues the more utilitarian direction, while the forefoot carries a large, graffiti-inspired Patta logo that sits across the top of the clog rather than appearing as a small conventional logo hit.

The pair also comes with a series of custom Jibbitz.

Among the details visible so far are a brick-wall graphic carrying the words “Tear Down The Wall” and a red hourglass marked “Time’s Up”. Sneaker News also notes the black outsole and fabric heel strap, while Sole Retriever reports co-branding on the footbed.

Those details make the project feel much more like Patta than a straightforward co-branded Crocs release.

Why the Vibram sole matters

This is probably the most important part of the collaboration.

Crocs launched the Classic EXP as a more capable version of its familiar clog. Its official product specification includes a Vibram Christy outsole, designed to provide more traction and durability than the standard Crocs sole.

The regular Classic EXP also uses Crocs’ BounceLite midsole and a fully moulded Croslite upper.

That means the Patta collaboration sits somewhere between comfort footwear, outdoor footwear and streetwear — territory that increasingly overlaps anyway.

It is also a much better fit for Patta than a conventional Classic Clog would have been. Rather than simply putting Patta graphics onto an established Crocs shape, the brand is working with one of Crocs’ newer, more functional silhouettes.

It is a significant move for Patta

Patta working outside Nike is not unprecedented, but Crocs still represents a noticeable change of direction.

The Amsterdam brand remains closely associated with some of the most recognisable Nike collaborations of the last decade, especially its Air Max 1 Waves projects.

Moving from those highly traditional sneaker categories into Crocs therefore feels less like Patta abandoning sneaker culture and more like the brand widening what it considers relevant footwear.

Crocs has been doing the same thing from the opposite direction, using collaborations to build credibility beyond comfort footwear and increasingly giving partners room to reinterpret its silhouettes rather than simply recolour them.

Is this Patta’s first Crocs collaboration?

Based on currently available reporting, this appears to be the first Patta x Crocs footwear collaboration.

That alone should make the pair more interesting to collectors than another seasonal Crocs colourway.

Patta has one of the strongest collaboration followings in European sneaker culture, while Crocs has become increasingly comfortable allowing collaborators to alter the character of its products rather than simply recolouring them.

When does the Patta x Crocs Classic EXP release?

There is one important detail that is still missing: neither brand has announced an official release date yet.

The first detailed images appeared in early September 2026, with Sneaker News reporting the collaboration on 8 September and Sole Retriever following on 9 September.

Patta’s current news page had not published a dated Crocs release announcement at the time of writing, and Crocs’ official EXP pages also do not currently provide confirmed Patta launch information.

That means any specific release date circulating before an official announcement should be treated cautiously.

The collaboration is expected to release during 2026, but the exact date, retail price and distribution have not yet been confirmed.

How much will the Patta x Crocs cost?

Price: €90

There is currently no reliable official European or US retail price for the Patta collaboration, but some European sources mention €90 price.

The standard Classic EXP gives useful context, but it would be misleading to assume the collaboration will use exactly the same pricing. Patta branding, custom Jibbitz and collaborative packaging could all affect retail price.

Where will you be able to buy it?

Distribution has not officially been announced.

Patta collaborations are typically sold through Patta directly, including its own online store and physical chapter locations, while larger projects sometimes receive a wider partner release afterwards.

Crocs also operates its own direct-to-consumer stores and launch infrastructure across Europe.

So Patta and Crocs are the two places worth watching first — but until either brand publishes release information, any wider retailer list is speculation.

The bigger picture

The interesting part of the Patta x Crocs Classic EXP is not simply that Crocs has secured another streetwear collaborator.

It is the particular product both brands chose.

Crocs could easily have handed Patta the regular Classic Clog. Patta could easily have added its logo, picked a distinctive colour and stopped there.

Instead, the project starts with a Vibram-soled, outdoor-influenced EXP model, adds desert camo, technical black detailing and Patta’s graphic language, and turns the clog into something closer to trail-inspired streetwear.

That makes it one of Crocs’ more convincing fashion collaborations of 2026 so far.

Whether it becomes another highly sought-after Patta release will depend on pricing, availability and how limited the launch turns out to be.

For now, though, this is one worth keeping on the release radar.
